That’s why the blade is made of 10-gauge steel and the cutting edge is made of 4-guage steel.
The cutting edge uses a super-tough advanced steel alloy so it can break through hardpacked snow and ice.
And the whole thing is reinforced with beefy supports on the backside of the blade.
The shock absorbing springs coupled with a tilt-forward design make it even more resistant to impact.
That hidden curb is no problem.
